How does the registration work?

You choose the toll product you need for your trip to/through Switzerland.

After a few seconds / minutes you will receive an email confirmation with a QR code. Now your license plates are successfully registered at the toll station and you can drive off without attaching a sticker and without a waiting period!

A toll must be paid for all vehicles in order to drive on highways in Croatia.

Introduction is planned for 2026/2027. With Crolibertas, tolls are to be collected automatically in future via license plate recognition or a toll box – a classic vignette is not planned for this.

No separate vignette is currently required for a trailer or caravan. However, a trailer will in most cases place your vehicle in a higher vehicle category, which will result in higher toll charges.

No. There is currently no vignette in Croatia – neither as a sticker nor digital. When entering the highway you receive a ticket that you must show and pay when leaving. In future, this is intended to be automated via the digital toll system Crolibertas using license plate recognition or a toll box – no adhesive vignette will be needed for that either.

The amount of the fee depends on the distance traveled and the vehicle category. The categories depend on factors such as the height of the vehicle, the number of axles or the permissible total weight.

After you have paid for your order, we will immediately start registering your license plates. This usually takes less than 2 minutes! After successful registration in the toll store, you will receive a registration confirmation with a QR code by mail. Your toll product is now valid and you can start driving!

Currently, the ticket you receive when entering the highway must be kept until you leave the highway. However, this regulation may change in future with the introduction of the digital toll system Crolibertas.
